Leaving Denali and reaching Mount Aconcagua Base Camp

sunny 30 °C

After we finally summited Denali a week later we climbed back down to Base camp stayed the night and left on an international flight to Chile. Once we had arrived in chile we immediately headed to Aconcagua Base Camp. While we were traveling we saw some of the local landmarks. Chile is not a very rich country. Chile only has a GDP per Capita of about $15,732 versus United States which about $53,041. aconcagua.jpgSetWidth760-750px-renaca4new.jpg

Arriving at Denali Base Camp

overcast 10 °C

After we landed at Denali's Private Airport we got a ride to Denali's Base Camp, we set in for the night to begin our climb to the summit in the morning. The Hardest part of this Journey will be compensating for all the Jet Lag.

Departing from DIA to Kantishna

overcast 16 °C

Flying with Alaska Airlines I depart from Denver International Airport to Kantishna Airport. Kantishna Airport is a private airport for Mount Denali. International Flights do not fly into here so I had to be overlaid in Anchorage and then to be transferred domestically to Kantishna Airport. bg_splash2opt_0.jpg"Anchorage_International_Airport_and_Cook_Inlet.jpg
